Scans get disconnected from context
When teams scan into one long list, it becomes hard to remember which code belonged to which box, shelf, order, or count cycle.
Barcode Capture For Real-World Inventory Work
Inventory Scanner turns scattered barcode notes into one organized session. Create a group, scan everything for that bucket, export a clean CSV, and keep a private archive in iCloud.
The Problem
When teams scan into one long list, it becomes hard to remember which code belonged to which box, shelf, order, or count cycle.
Clipboard notes, screenshots, and handwritten labels all create cleanup work later when someone needs a usable spreadsheet.
Inventory data often should not pass through third-party servers just to recognize a barcode or keep a record of the session.
How It Works
Name the current box, shelf, order, or batch before scanning so every barcode stays attached to the right context.
Use live barcode capture to collect codes quickly, then switch groups whenever you move to the next physical bucket.
Share a CSV when the job is done, or save the session to the user’s private iCloud archive for later review and re-export.

Privacy
Inventory Scanner performs barcode recognition on the user’s device. Barcode scans are not sent to a remote processing service.
When a session is saved, it is stored in the user’s private iCloud database so it remains under that Apple ID across devices.
The app is designed around on-device work and private iCloud storage instead of creating another inventory account to manage.
