Terse does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.

When you summarize an article, the text of the article is sent to our AI service provider for processing. This data is processed transiently and is not stored or retained after the summary is generated.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Article text is transmitted to our AI provider solely for the purpose of generating your requested summary.

Data Retention

Article text and generated summaries are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers. Summary history, if enabled, is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time.

Your Rights

Since Terse does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete or data to export. All app data resides on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Children's Privacy

Terse is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
