Once you've filled in your details and a QR code is generated, tap on the QR code to view it full screen. From there you can screenshot it, or use the share sheet to send it via email, Messages, AirDrop, or any other sharing method your iPhone supports.
Can others scan my QR code without an app?
Yes. Your QR code encodes a standard vCard (VCF) file. Anyone with an iPhone can scan it using the built-in Camera app. Android users can scan it with Google Lens or any QR scanner app. No additional software is required.
How do I add a membership card to Apple Wallet?
Navigate to the Membership Cards tab in the app, tap "Add a New Membership Card," enter the store name and membership number (and optionally the store address), then tap "Add to Apple Wallet." The pass will be generated and saved to your Wallet app.
Can I add a photo to my card?
Yes. Tap on the profile picture area on your card to take a new photo or choose one from your photo library. The image will be embedded in the vCard data so contacts see your photo when they save you.
How do I add the Home Screen widget?
Press and hold on your iPhone Home Screen until the apps jiggle, tap the "+" button in the top corner, search for "Qard," and choose your preferred widget size. The widget will display your current saved QR code.
Is my data stored on any server?
No. All your contact data is stored locally on your device. The only exception is when you explicitly choose to create an Apple Wallet pass, in which case your membership data is temporarily processed through our secure server to generate the pass file, and is not stored permanently.
How do I unlock unlimited QR codes?
Qard offers a limited number of free QR code creations. To unlock unlimited usage, go to Settings and tap "Full Unlock" to purchase the unlimited tier through an in-app purchase. This removes all creation limits permanently.
